Amerisuites Hotel Reservation
The Amerisuites Augusta is located off of the 1st exit, and is probably available for the dates you selected. Not sure if they have a heated pool or not, though. They are usually not too fancy but have full kitchens, etc. The more expensive ones will tend to have pools, fitness centers, etc. The less expensive ones will pretty much give you a room with a full kitchen and thats it.
Also, bear in mind that in extended stay hotels, maid service is only about twice a week, and changing linens is usually only once a week. Here are some ideas: First, based on my experience, the best value for the money if youre trying not to spend too much is Candlewood Suites. Nice clean bathroom, no frills, good soap and shampoo provided. They provide everything you need in the Kitchen to cook, including a full size refrigerator. Yes, you just go in there and use whatever machines you need for free, no quarters necessary. 50 cents for one load worth of detergent. Hilton has a few, the high end would be Homewood Suites, and they will have EVERYTHING you want, including a fitness center, usually also a pool and all other amenities.
Their rooms tend to be very big and nice, a lot of times with fireplaces. 100 a night though, maybe more depending where you are. Doubletree Suites will give you a full kitchen, you have to check the one in the city youre looking at. Embassy Suites is top of the line, and they provide you with a full cooked to order breakfast every morning.
The other two are just as good otherwise though, if you ask me. In fact, I kind of like Hilton Garden Inn the best, for business travel, anyway. Marriott has a few properties, but Im not very familiar with them. Residence Inn a few times, its their version of Hiltons Homewood Suites, the rooms are as nice, but the amenities arent quite as good as Homewoods. For the most part with Marriott, they are like Hilton but a little less on the amenities as Hilton and a lot less consistent in services and quality as Hilton. They are very good still, though. Could be very good values, because they can be very inexpensive. Usually when youre on the road, even with a full kitchen, you end up eating out anyway.
Even in the nicest extended stay hotels, I ended up buying my own frying pan because the nonstick fry pans in the rooms are usually ruined.
